Bible Revival Ministries strives to assist local students

Bible Revival Ministries Center is assisting local students in a trouble economy by extending their Share the Joy project.  "The idea for Share the Joy came from Pastor Daniel.  The Share the Joy is a continuation and demonstration of God's love.  When Pastor Daniel was young, his father was in an auto accident and was disabled for approximately one year.  The family struggled to make ends meet.  As a result, the children would not get Christmas that year.  Someone or someone's came knocking at the door.  When the children opened the door, they found the front porch full of groceries and a toy for each of the children.  To this day, the family does not know who demonstrated God's love that evening, they just remember the hope that was restored.  This kindness is remembered today through the Share the Joy Project.  Share the Joy is extending the hand of kindness.  Each year, 4,000 - 5,000 gifts are distributed during the Christmas season. The Share the Joy Project works directly with the local schools in identifying the needy children.

Bible Revival members have always supplied school supplies to children in the local congregation.  This year we have expanded that program to children in the community.  By assisting the children in their back to school supplies, we are giving the children an edge toward the road of success.

We will be hosting a Back to School Bash on August 15 where we will have concessions, games and different community representatives.  Each child will received a back to school gift bag (while supplies last).  We still need donations from individuals and organizations of school supplies.  There are drop boxes located at different businesses in Kernersville and a drop box at the Ministries Center.  Items needed are notebooks, backpacks, paper and basics.  We are extending the arm of kindness to the community.  Any businesses that wants to participate can contact the local office @ 336-996-8904.

In these times that we are in, there is such a great need in families.  Many parents are losing jobs and are having to make decisions based upon survival.  Parents are struggling.  Now is the time in which we can help.  We wants to make things easier for families so they can still meet their obligations and the children don't have to sacrifice.

It is still important the community comes together.  It takes a village to raise a child and there should be no child left behind.

It is truly important to extend the hand of kindness.  For questions about donations or the Share the Joy Project, contact Donna Daniel @ 336-996-8904.
